Loch Shores Wildlife
West
Loch Shores is tranquil and rich with activity at the same
time featuring a divers ecosystem with wildlife at every turn.
The richness ranges from small insect sand pests to fish
and sea life and land mammals including bats and deer.
For
ornithologists there are a wide range of birds, and a huge
amount of bird activity all year round including common garden
birds such as thrushes and robins, the common gulls and the
occasional stray guillemot and birds of prey including golden
eagles, kestrels and buzzards.
