Only 1 mile north is the small fishing village of Tarbert. Fresh fish and shellfish are landed almost daily at the one of the few remaining fishing quays in the whole of Scotland.

Some of the fish is exported across the rest of the United Kingdom, some of which is purchased and served at the local hotels and restaurants and some is filleted and sold to the public here in the village by Dougald Johnson.

Dougald Johnson has a large range of fish available, much of which has been gutted and filleted ready for you to take away.
