Award Winning Food

Tarbert has more award winning restaurants and eateries per head than any other town or city in Britain, so why not try Pascal's Corner House Bistro restaurant. Pascal, an award winning chef of French origin who's home has been in Tarbert for many years, recently cooked alongside Nick Nairn at the 2005 Tarbert Seafood Festival, and has been cooking at the Seafood Festival for many years. The Kilberry Inn just outside Tarbert in Kilberry serves great food as does the Columba Hotel, Anchor Hotel and the Anchorage Restaurant.

If you prefer to cook your own food, then why not take a 5 minute drive in to Tarbert village and purchase some seafood and take it to your lodge to cook. From the fantastic shellfish produce from Prentice Seafoods at the battery, to the succulent fish from Dougald Johnson at a rustic location behind the Tourist Information Office.

If you prefer simple cafe food, or have a family and want to take the children for simple snack food then you can always try the Cadora Cafe or alternatively Light Bites here in Tarbert.
