Tarbert previously had more award winning restaurants and eateries per head than any other town or city in Britain. There are a significant number of quality restaurants within driving distance of West Loch Shores sites.
Local to West Loch Shores Tarbert there are various hotels and restaurants to tantalise your taste buds, with the introduction of Cafe Barge - an unusual floating restaurant - and Scott's Bistro - a modern informal family restaurant - the choice is better than ever.
The Victoria Hotel, now in the hands of Pascal, a chef of French origin who's cooked alongside Nick Nairn at a number Tarbert Seafood Festivals was also featured on the Hairy Bikers Food Tour Of Britian television programme as was the Kilberry Inn just outside Tarbert in Kilberry which serves great food.
Oher great places include the West Loch Hotel, Tarbert Hotel, Anchor Hotel and Anchorage Restuarant to name a few!
If you prefer to cook your own food, then why not take a 5 minute drive in to Tarbert village and purchase some seafood and take it to your lodge to cook. From the fantastic shellfish produce from Prentice Seafoods at the battery, to the succulent fish from Dougald Johnson at a rustic location behind the Tourist Information Office.
If you prefer simple cafe food, or have a family and want to take the children for simple snack food then you can always try the Cadora Cafe or alternatively Light Bites here in Tarbert.
