Arran

The isle of Arran provides a great day out and is easily reached from Kintyre by taking the A83 towards Campbeltown and then turning left onto the B8001 just past Kennacraig ferry terminal. Follow the signs to Skipness until you reach the Claonaig ferry terminal. From here you can catch the ferry to Arran.

Arran is known as Scotland in miniature. It has mountains, moorland, great walking, golf courses, beaches, a distillery, castles and history in abundance.
